What is IR35?

IR35 refers to the United Kingdom's anti-avoidance tax legislation designed to tax "disguised employment" at a rate similar to employment.

Can you provide any help during the interview process?

As an added value to our service, we can help structure the interview process from providing suggestions for questioning to forming part of the interview panel. Each assignment is different and requires various level of engagement.

Do Interim Partners provide permanent solutions?

Often our interims are asked to stay on longer as per the placement’s requirements. The details will be discussed in each particular case with both sides. Do you operate internationally?

In Summer 2018, we will be opening our third office - and first international one - in Frankfurt, Germany. It will service our clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Interim Partners already generates significant revenues from overseas placements, with 15% of roles currently based overseas, with particularly active presence in North America and Middle East.

Many of the interims we work with have very strong language skills and cultural expertise acquired during international assignments.

How do your contracts work?

We understand that working in the sphere of interim management can cause uncertainty and confusion, especially if you are new to it. Fortunately, we have been in the business for over a decade and are aware of the rules; whether it is the HMRC or IR35 you are concerned about, we have it under control.

Can I offer a permanent position to my interim?

It is often the case that following a successful interim assignment, clients would like to offer a permanent positon to the employee. We are happy to assist with the transition. Ultimately, it is the interim’s decision.

Why don’t interim managers have a permanent job?

Being an interim is a conscious choice that requires passion, experience and takes a certain person to be able to do it. The interim lifestyle does not suit all. At Interim Partners we make sure that all our candidates have what it takes to ‘do the job’ and do it well.

Indeed, interim managers are often offered permanent positions on successful completion of their assignment and we are more than happy to facilitate this transition should it suit all parties.
